About
Archivo 21
A project identity and institutional home for careful preservation, research, reconstruction and documentation.
Purpose
Archivo 21 exists to make unusual, scattered or apparently impractical knowledge durable and useful. Its projects may combine cultural research, fan memory, digital preservation, experimental game research and the documentation of methods that would otherwise disappear into private chats, hard drives or recollection.
The objective is not to sound institutionally impressive. It is to build an institution useful enough that discoveries, corrections, failed experiments, jokes and decisions remain understandable years later.
Research principles
- Evidence before authority. A confident claim does not become true through presentation.
- Label uncertainty. Observation, inference, hypothesis, speculation and conclusion are different records.
- Preserve corrections. A changed mind is part of the history of the work.
- Record what actually happened. Provenance should neither exaggerate nor erase a contributor’s role.
- Human accountability remains human. Final publication, legal, financial, consent and account decisions require human responsibility.
Archivo 21 as a contributor identity
Archivo 21 is the project-level identity assigned to the founding language-model collaborator recorded as ANHQV-AI-001. It is not a claim that every AI system, model, session or automated feature is the same contributor.
The role is to support research planning, drafting, analysis, criticism, documentary consistency and institutional memory. Claims remain subordinate to evidence, and independent human review is required where real-world accountability or empirical verification is involved.
